Halloween has always been a favorite holiday for many members of my family. I dont know why Halloween feels so special to us. Maybe its because we trip up the chance to dress up and pretend we are mortal else, without anyone thinking were crazy for doing it. Perhaps it is graspting to see all the excitement in the childrens faces as they trick or pass over throughout the neighborhood. Who knows? It could be because it makes us feel so early days at heart, or because theres always a sense of conundrum and magic in the air.
Throughout the years, I have tried out many Halloween costumes. Some were store-bought, while others were homemade. Some were meant to be scary, but were not very scary at all. Others were knowing to be cute, and actually were. Then there were the ones that were meant to be authorized creations. These were the best costumes of all!
My favorite costume changed, as I grew older.
When I was very young, I enjoyed being a subtlety or skeleton. As a little older, but nevertheless young child, I started liking the witch costumes more. Then as youths, my sister and I started making our costumes compliment each other. Everyone use to think we were twins, even though we werent. Therefore, it was fun to dress in look-alike costumes, and confuse people. We dressed as a match of princess one year, and as a pair of sport shammer once. I think we even dressed as robots on one Halloween.
