Leadership Styles and Effects
At Cisco Systems, there be several leadership styles use. Three primary leadership styles that Cisco Systems uses are transformational, charismatic and transactional. Transformational leadership is the most commonly used style at the organization. Transformational leaders inspire followers to egest their own self-interests for the good of the organization and are capable of having a profound and extraordinary effect on their followers (Robbins & angstrom; Judge, 2007, p. 437). A transformational leader puts enthusiasm and force behind everything they do. They expound by building a vision and selling the vision. This leadership style is very powerful in the fact that the leader takes their followers to succeed.



A transformational leader is able to create an image and develop trust among a group. Once trust is create within a group, followers tend to uplift genius another which create a high level of motif among the group. Transformational leaders do not avoid difficulty, they embrace it. The transformational leader will endure failures but they are willing to hire it as long as they feel they are qualification progress. There are several characteristics a transformational leader uses to lead a group.
