The boy on the left had no future. The one on the right was a talented star pupil, is an denomination by the journalist Kamal Ahmed. In the article he starts out by being actually frank forward, a style he keeps during the whole article. He wants to start a debate about race and naturalize and how the two of them affects one another.
The themes of the article ar mostly eminent domesticate, racism, being materialization in the UK, choices we make and chances we get.
The target groups are: whatever person interested of course, for example this text is an article (we are not informed whether this is an article for a cartridge holder or a newspaper) so we could imagine that the text is meant for memorializeers of all magazine or newspaper. The target group is also any kid who was/is in Ryans position before he came to Downside Catholic boarding school, parents and simply people from the age 10 to 60. The language of the text is indeed not suitable for young children but neither meant for well-educated people, because of how simple and easy to read the article is.
Kamal pre directs a young blue 15-year old named Ryan Williams, who we promptly feel emotionally attached to, because of the problems at school, on the streets and maybe also at home.
Kamals presentation of Ryan Williams, started by communicate the reader of Ryans situation before he was sent to the fine school, which was not that good, and then we learned that just afterwards a short time he became a star student. This presentation is very effective, because it makes the reader interested in how Ryan develop so fast.
A thing that Kamal points out is that Ryan is black, and in that school being black is not very common, Ryan tells us too. As reader we get compassionate about this fact, because we wonder why that is. Why are there not more black people who can afford to go this school?
This could perhaps be one of the questions Kamal wants us think...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
