The Cronulla Riots were a group of racial attacks that started on the 11th of declination and the following week. This daytime saw the gathering of nearly 5000 people, well-nigh of them were of Anglo Celtic background, some locals, some from other Sydney beachside suburbs such as Maroubra and Brighton, in order to reclaim the beach after both middle eastern youths attacked Cronulla lifesavers. The announcement of the gathering was sent via peregrine text to people all around Sydney, inviting them to join in the fight for Australians right to get back their beaches. Violence skint out due to a mixture of mob side and alcohol and many went around looking for anyone of Middle east decent.

Three shows were aerial on television; quartet Corners program, Riot and Revenge from the ABC on the 13th of borderland 2006, Sixty Minutes program, After the Cronulla Riots, shown on Channel golf club on the 19th of February 2006 and the Insight program, True Colours that aired on SBS on the 21st of August 2006. They were aired a few months after the events, reliving the days of ultimate goal and violence.
With the aftermath of the Cronulla Riots on everybodys mind, Sixty Minutes arrange a special forum called After the Cronulla Riots. People, both Moslem and non-Muslim, sat down together for the first time and bring back the horrific week in December.
