The Stock fill in of Mauritius Ltd (SEM) (Member of the World Federation of Exchanges) SEM Young Investor plunder 2010 Introduction: The Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM) held the Prize Giving observation for the eighteenth edition of the SEM Young Investor Award Competition (SEMYIA) 2010 at the Octave Wiehé Auditorium, Réduit, on 9th phratry 2010. This years competition has attracted 176 teams of five students each from 95 colleges across the country, representing 880 students which is an all-time-high bit since the creation of this event since 1993. Hindu Girls College Team B won the first accolade of Rs 100,000 and the Challenge Trophy offered by the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. The min and third prizes of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 went to Riviere Du Rempart SSS, Team B and Aleemiah Forms I-VI Girls College, Team A respectively. The Mauritius mercantile Bank , The National Mutual Fund and The Mauritian eagle Insurance sponsored the competition. Exaequo Sodnac SSS Teams A and B won the dispute trophy for the Best Report, offered by the Mauritius Society of Financial Analysts (CFA).

Initiated in 1993, the SEM Young Investor Award Competition stood this year at its 18th edition. Throughout the years, this annual event has generated a growing bear on from lower 6 students from secondary institutions across the country, both in towns and villages, and the number of participants and schools registered has considerably increased over the last 17 years.
